Leah & Ben meet Poppy

Leah had an empowering hospital VBA2C, at almost 42 weeks, with Debby Gould from Birthtalk.org as her doula. She birthed a  beautiful little sister for two big brothers!  Leah attended our “Healing From Birth” sessions, and did our VBAC Course in 2012 with her husband, Ben.

Leah’s email to us, January 2013 :
Hi Melissa and Deb
I just wanted to say, on behalf of Ben and I, that we can’t thank-you enough for all the support over the last year. Without it I don’t think we would have been able to move forward from our previous births and have such an amazing journey and birth this time. As I’m sure Deb has already told you, Melissa, our beautiful baby, Poppy, was born yesterday in a challenging but empowering VBA2C in which we just made it to the birth suite in time. In particular I can’t thank Deb enough for all of her support throughout my pregnancy. Her knowledge was invaluable and she was a great source of comfort to me when I was almost 42 weeks and feeling the pressure from the hospital. So THANK-YOU DEB you were amazing, and I know that Ben is also very grateful to you and all your support and encouragement. ‘Princess Poppy’ is already being spoilt by us and a very adoring extended family.
