“…whilst it was not the birth I anticipated it was the perfect birth for me. One of the main things I got from Birthtalk was idea of having an ‘empowering’ birth whatever the circumstances, and that is exactly what I got. Yes, it had some drama and tears, a reluctant and scary ambulance rush to the hospital etc. etc. but I felt loved, supported and advocated for the whole time. And in the end… I had a drug-free, vaginal birth and it felt amazing when a bloody-gooey baby girl was lifted onto my chest. Thank you both for your support, wisdom and commitment to Birthtalk.
